CCL: PANCAKE DAY

Pancake Day is the day before Lent. It is forty days before Easter. In Britain, people eat pancakes. These are made of eggs, flour and milk. It is traditional to eat pancakes with lemon juice and sugar.

In many places in Britain, there are pancake-tossing competitions on Pancake Day. The person who cooks and tosses the most pancakes in ten minutes wins.
